5 Your lamb shall be h without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats,
19 if it is to be accepted for you it shall be a w male without blemish, of the bulls or the sheep or the goats. 20 x You shall not offer anything that has a blemish, for it will not be acceptable for you. 21 And when anyone y offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord z to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering from the herd or from the flock, to be accepted it must be perfect; there shall be no blemish in it.
17 j “You shall not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep in which is a blemish, any defect whatever, for that is an abomination to the Lord your God.
8 l When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says the Lord of hosts.
14 Cursed be the cheat who has u a male in his flock, and v vows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. For w I am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name x will be feared among the nations.
14 how much more will q the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit r offered himself without blemish to God, s purify our [1] conscience t from dead works u to serve the living God.
