11 You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a z sign of the covenant between me and you.
11 c He received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The purpose was d to make him the father of all who believe without being circumcised, so that righteousness would be counted to them as well,
6 And p the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, q so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.
25 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, b This is the law of the sin offering. c In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord; d it is most holy.
7 but into the second only a the high priest goes, and he but a once a year, and not without taking blood, b which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people. 8 By this the Holy Spirit indicates that c the way into the holy places is not yet opened as long as the first section is still standing 9 (which is symbolic for the present age). [1] According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered d that cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper,
24 For Christ has entered, not into holy places h made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God i on our behalf.
12 Moreover, I gave them r my Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, s that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 And he b touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”
