Judgment for Idolatry
44 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Judeans who lived in the land of Egypt, at i Migdol, at j Tahpanhes, at Memphis, and in the land of k Pathros,
14 “Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in b Migdol;
proclaim in b Memphis and b Tahpanhes;
say, c ‘Stand ready and be prepared,
for d the sword shall devour around you.’
16 And I will set fire to Egypt;
Pelusium shall be in great agony;
Thebes shall be breached,
and w Memphis shall face enemies by day.
