23 He said to them, j “You are from below; I am from above. k You are of this world; l I am not of this world.

44 z You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. a He was a murderer from the beginning, and b has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. c When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
