6 u For to us a child is born,
to us v a son is given;
w and the government shall be x upon [2] his shoulder,
and his name shall be called [3]
Wonderful y Counselor, z Mighty God,
a Everlasting b Father, Prince of c Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and of peace
d there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
e with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
f The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
9 r The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts. And s in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.’”
36 As for i the word that he sent to Israel, j preaching good news of k peace through Jesus Christ (l he is Lord of all),
5 a Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, b we [4] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
