4 And Jesus said to them, j “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.”

24 And he said, “Truly, I say to you, o no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

44 (For Jesus himself had testified e that a prophet has no honor in his own hometown.)

21 Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the men of h Anathoth, i who seek your life, and say, j “Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord, or you will die by our hand”—
